Apple Pay® Available at The First State Bank

Ready to make your next purchase conveniently from your iPhone® or Apple® device?

At The First State Bank, we support Apple Pay — a digital wallet* that enables you to make contactless purchases in-store or online via your iPhone or Apple device without your physical debit card.

How to get Apple Pay

Add your First State Bank debit card(s) to Apple Pay on your iPhone, Apple Watch®, iPad®, or MacBook®. From there, you’re just a few clicks away from making secure payments – online and in-store – at retailers nationwide.

Benefits of Apple Pay
  1. Setup is a breeze. Apple Pay is pre-loaded for most Apple devices, so no downloads are needed. Add your First State Bank debit card information to the Wallet app, and you’re ready to shop!
  2. Touchless payments. Avoid touching buttons, terminals, your cards, or cash when making payments.
  3. Shop at a wide variety of retailers. Apple Pay is accepted at many nationwide retailers. Look for the Apple Pay logo when you checkout.
  4. Payments are private and secure. Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code, so your card number is never stored on your device nor shared with merchants.
How to use Apple Pay
  • If your iPhone uses Touch ID®, put your finger on Touch ID to activate.
  • Hold the top of your iPhone near the card reader at the payment terminal until you see “Done” and a checkmark on the screen.
  • If your iPhone uses Face ID®, double-click your phone’s side button to activate.
  • When your card appears, look at your iPhone to authenticate or enter your passcode.
How to use your Apple Watch to pay
  • Look for the Apple Pay icon at checkout and double-click your watch’s side button.
  • Look for your card to open automatically.
  • Hold the face of your Apple Watch near the contactless reader at the payment terminal until you feel a slight tap and hear a beep.
  • How to use Apple Pay in apps or online
